Space Logic has been appointed in conjunction with Urban Narrative in London to undertake a scoping study for a potential new museum and cultural centre at Macquarie University. The study will comprise a review of the University’s existing collections and facilities, including the Museum for Ancient Cultures, the Australian History Museum and the University Art Gallery , and will focus on the needs and opportunities for housing the collections, supporting teaching and research programs, facilitating public access, and potential locations and thematic approaches for a new museum and cultural centre. The commission is an extension of Space Logic’s advisory role on the University’s Master Plan.
