SpaceLogic Principal Chris Alcock has facilitated a project review of the proposed refurbishment of PFR’s laboratory complex at Mt. Eden in Auckland, culminating in an all-day workshop of the project team and stakeholders. The purpose of the review was to test the proposed scope and design of the project against the original project objectives, contemporary best practice and PFR’s evolving requirements. The project represents significant shifts in the PFR’s use of space, with the elimination of offices and the creation of highly transparent, discipline-based, flexible laboratories.
